Welcome to the Paneristi Officine Forum!
With the continued growth of Paneristi.com we felt that it would be good to have a separate forum where individuals can seek advice, offer comments or add their own views as regards Panerai watches, from vintage to manufacture.
So, this forum is for posts specifically related to Panerai watches, their movements, cases, history etc. that may, in the past, have become lost on the public forum.
This is not to say that you cannot post the same type of questions on the Public Forum, however we do ask that on this forum you keep all posts and responses specific to watches and that you avoid any lifestyle or community content.
So, please feel free to read and contribute to the discussions and news that make our forum The Unofficial Resource for Officine Panerai.
Paneristi is an enthusiasts informational resource site, and all forums are completely non-commercial in nature. Sharing information is what this forum has become known for - of course, all posts express only the views of the author of that particular post and do not necessarily represent the opinions or beliefs of Paneristi.com or its moderators.
We will strictly enforce a policy of "NO SHILLING".
Shilling is any activity on the Public Forum that can be construed as promoting commercial ventures. Some examples - links to other websites or auctions, giveaways of items that the poster makes or sells, posts or replies made with the intention of bringing attention to items that are for sale or to a commercial enterprise. If you think your post might be perceived as a shill, it probably is. Any post that the moderators determine to be a shill will be deleted without prior notice, and individuals who repeatedly disregard this policy will be subject to loss of posting privileges.
The owners and moderators of Paneristi.com would like to make it clear that using pictures or the intellectual property of others without their permission or awareness and then discussing them in such a way that could discredit or affect market value is an abuse on of the good intentions of the public forum. For that reason, a poster who has a track record of misleading the public will not be considered welcome nor trustworthy, especially if the abuses are committed by a known dealer. It is in the public interest that, if this occurs, the poster will lose his posting privileges for a period of time to be determined by the owners and moderators of Paneristi.com.
We also ask that, in general, all members post with appropriate decorum and respect to the opinions and sensitivities of other members. While this translates to using common sense for most of us, it's not so obvious for others, therefore Paneristi.com and its moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any post not in keeping with forum guidelines at their discretion. The use of profanities, be they implied or stated in full, lewd or potentially offensive images or text will be subject to editing or deletion by the moderators at their discretion. While we encourage open discussions, due to the non-commercial nature of this forum, the moderating staff requires that discussions or requests regarding specific dealers, deals, pricing/discount information, referrals, other web sites and the like are conducted by e-mail.
