Hi,

Just curious to see if people have ordered a PAM317 yet? If so, what's the fullfilment time your dealer is telling you? The BH Boutique mentioned that their current list is up to the end of 2010. sad.gif My local dealer won't guarantee anything but wants 50% deposit...not sure I want to part with that much and may not even get one in a couple of years.

Thx.

Thx Nad,

Beverly Hills Boutique thinks they're get their first by this December. And as mentioned, they estimate that their current waiting list will be fulfilled by end of 2010. That's a longish wait. I don't mind the wait but my local dealer wants 50% down with no guarantee. Do people actually give that much away hoping that one day, they may get a watch? sad.gif

Cheerios...

If your local AD......

wants your business then they should not expect a deposit without a short term delivery date. My AD has never asked me for a deposit and they have come through every time (except for the 292). Your AD is not paying a deposit up front so why should they expect you to? They know when the watch is coming about 1 month ahead so they can ask you for the deposit then. I would not mind giving them a deposit if I know my watch is less than 30 days away.

best regards,
ht

I'd find another AD to work with. 50% is ridiculous too.

Hi Hedwig

I have a 317 on order, I placed my deposit ( which was 20%) in May 2008 I rang up Panerai a couple of times and they told me that the watch hasn't been released this year and they say late summer 2009.

The boutiques will get theirs first and then the AD's around the world.

Im really tired of asking Panerai, AD's and everyone else. I liked the watch I put a deposit down and its down to Panerai when they deliver.....but isnt that one of the charms of Panerai when you get it you feel special.

50% is really too much for a watch they have no delivery date for, try and negotiate with them 20 - 25 % seems like the norm.

Hope you get one it looks a super special watch
