The Staff and I want to thank all of our Smokeout Family for eating with us over the years. It's like a Huge Family Reunion and we have thoroughly enjoyed it more than you will ever know. We were the longest running food vendor with Edge and the gang, going all the way back to the Salisbury Days. We tried to stay up all night and get up early with you guys, cook and party. It wore on us but we had a blast! It is with deep regret that this year the track refused to let us back in. I'm guessing it was because they weren't happy with the totals we turned in last year. They won't even tell us why which is what disturbs us. We noticed a lot of grills last year and shorter lines. We don't blame anyone for wanting to save money by bringing their own food. We also kept our prices low because we don't believe in gouging people. We don't know who will be selling food in the campground this year but it will not be us! Please remember that. Our BBQ rocked and our brats, burgers, NY Dogs, fries and other items were restaurant quality but o'well. We are still coming down to camp and party with you guys. This year we can actually party on the inside which will be a change but it will not be the same. If you see us walking around or chilling by our camper please stop by and say hi. Look for a Tarheel Catering shirt here or there. We know a lot of your faces, as you do ours. We will miss doing business with you. We are going to ask again next year if we can provide the food in the campground. Wish us luck. Party on!
