Girrire?

by

Dear All,

I am trying to find some information about "Girrire," which is a Somali dialect that may be found in southeastern Ethiopia. The Girrire people may or may not be second-language speakers of Af Maay. Apparently, they are not part of the "Jareer" or Somali Bantu. If anyone has heard of an ethnic group or language like this, please let me know.

Thanks,
L. C. Jordan
