Thank you for your post.
There is a Falke 80 with the serial #49 in Sweden.
As you will have noticed on the database, several duplicate serial numbers have become apparent over the past couple of years and yours appears to be yet another example.
I think that is the most interesting outcome from the exercise so far; that what we thought were unique serial numbers are in fact not unique - or at least not always so.
We don't know the reason for this, but it hasn't stopped us speculating as you will have seen!
To answer your question, no, we have no access to a factory production list. In fact very little information seems to be publicly available about the Falke factory, apart the dates it was in operation and its location in Bennigsen.
For some time I've been hoping that a Falke enthusiast with the right language skills would come forward to investigate and perhaps advertise for information from surviving employees in the Hannover area. There are some investigations ongoing, which is a positive development. But in the end it may take somebody with the necessary resources to visit Bennigsen and "knock on doors" before we get an answer to the question, for example, of why the Falke enterprise was so short-lived.
But I digress! If you could please let us have some photos of your Falke collection, I'd be glad to add them to the gallery. I don't suppose your grandfather kept any Falke-related literature or materials when he bought his Falke 80 - anything that doesn't already appear in the Resources section?
