Response to Well, like some quartz seikos with the dial variations of SQ and those without the SQ text

what I find hard to believe is that Seiko put a dial with the 6458 caliber number into a watch with a 7c43 movement and case back. This simply isn't like any of the other crossovers that have occurred; they all had dial caliber numbers that matched the movement and case backs.

The only time we see these mismatches is when the cobblers get a hold of them.

You mentioned that Dave's watch is a crossover but it clearly(well maybe a little fuzzy) shows that dial printed with 7C43; not 6458.

To me, a logical crossover would be the 6458 200m dial with a 6458 movement and case back.

Do we have any verifiable pieces with the 6458 dial and a 7c43 movement/case back. Has there been any input from Tokunaga on this...his link simply states that the 200m has the 6458 movement?
