Response to Don't know but seems Omega won the first round....and as for Seiya San

actually create higher income or if they just lose the sales completely?

If Omega sells a watch to a distributor who sells it to Costco, they have made the sale no matter what.
But if the distributor can't sell to Costco, then they will buy fewer watches and Omega doesn't make a sale.

Most of the folks who shop at Costco would likely not pay the full retail for the same watch at an AD so more business lost.

I'm willing to bet that these silly games actually cost the companies more than they think they gain. It's like when Panerai gets it's knickers in a not because some Chinese mushroom brand uses Marina Militaire on the dial of a $45 watch. The folks who buy those watches will never be able to afford the real thing or wouldn't spend the absurd amount of money the cost. Again, no sales lost, just bad PR on the part of the big manufacturers sad.gif
