Response to Envious weather! you never mentioned the temp? Blue skies and

regarding Cuba. Castro is close to death and his brother is now in charge, but I'm sure that within a few years, things will change drastically in Cuba. If the Obama administration get another term in power then this change will happen soner.
It's still a relatively quiet island, very poor, but there has been a lot of investment in the island from european contries and also quite a lot from Canada. (Hotels and resorts)
I actually met my wife in Cuba (she was there on vacation with her mother) and we went down a few years later and got married there. I have a Cuban marriage liscense.

To address Jeje's comment on socialism and there somehow always being some that have more than others, this is just the sad reality of human nature. The stronger, the smarter, the more ruthless, will alway's take advantage of the weaker, simpler, and good natured.
Without starting another political shitstorm, I really don't believe that communism or socialism in the strictest sense of the word has ever existed. In countries that have claimed to be either or, it has been twisted, perverted, and slanted to the advantage of those in power.
Just for the record, I am neither a communist nor a socialist. I like different aspects from the entire political spectrum.
