I had these out for the first time in months.
I thought I would take a quick picture and post it.
Sorry about the quality, point and shoot.
These are some of my favorites. The two all original
6105-811X's and the two all original 6309-704X's are
perfect examples and look as new as the day they were
made. The same goes for the 62MAS. I don't think it's
ever been worn. I'm fortunate to have these.
All these look perfect, I'm very careful when I wear them.
(only a few get wrist time) I don't know why I keep some of
the newer watches, I guess it's what a "collector" does.
The Monster hangs around like an ugly pup, it really doesn't do
much for me. The gold dial Seiko quartz was a pre-wedding gift in
1984. She bought my love! It worked, we're still together. The black
dial Orient took awhile to find. I love the 6139 and the history
behind it, and as is the case with anything I have refurbished,
Jack @ IWW did the work. It too, now looks like a brand new piece.
He also modded the yellow dial diver, and refurbished the BullHead.
The BullHead was an A, and Jack made it an A+. It was serviced and
keeps great time, as do all my watches serviced by IWW. I can't say
enough about what Jack has done for my collection. I'm very picky,
and hard to please, and he came through for me. Thanks Jack!
The Mido is new old stock, as is the mult-color Orient "diver".
The Citizen popped up on the sales forum (SCWF) years ago, and it
was mint. I couldn't pass it up. I know nothing about them, but it
looks cool. The 6105-8000 needs some "light" work. A service and a
case refinish, along with a NOS bezel I bought years ago, it too
will look like it came out of the factory yesterday. The case just
has some swirls, and the bezel insert looks great, but I like to
bring them back to perfect if I can. The Seiko quartz diver is a
nice watch, I've got a couple of those. Of course the Tuna is
fun to wear, it makes a statement on your wrist, kinda like my
Ecozilla does, just not as heavy.
I think that's about it for that box, and no I don't pack those
loose watches in the same box, they were laying loose in my safe.
I need to pull everything out and get good pictures to post.
I may get a couple of projects in the works, it's been awhile since
I've had the excitement of opening a long awaited package from IWW.
Sorry for the bad quality of the pic, but it is what it is...
Some older pics...
For the foodies, this is a MAN'S PLATE.
And this, I just like...
