the 2 in parenthesis the wife is not sure but would have to check google Japan to find the old meaning of those Kanji letters. Seems some of those watches had only the first 2 letters. The wife found a site on those watches ...a Japanese of course. The wife figures it means West.....Japanese Railroad WEST. The wife says there are the two railway East and railway West. The Kanji in the parenthesis is a fancy way of writing WEST.
