An interesting dial cleanup...

This is the dial that came on my 6309-7290 project...

And this is what it looks like after a thorough scrubbing...

Sure, some of the original paint is gone but so is the really bad relume mess that someone attempted.
The dial is obviously AM since it has no bevel of any kind on the day date window and it's made of aluminum or some soft silvery metal like that.

The thing is that it is almost presentable now wink.gif

This new AM dial is incoming and if I can 'age' the bright green lume, it should look a lot better...
