Peter added to the original post stating that just a screw had come loose. He put it back in, tightened the rest of them and sent her back. It's in good working order and it
is a good Sea gull movement inside.
I bought a nice new red/brown panny style strap for it and I am awaiting both.

afternoon so it wasn't really going anywhere that day,
and it got clear across the country by Tuesday.
As for how I feel about the watch, well, I bought a nice rouille
panny style strap for it and once I get the watch and the strap
I will wear it and see what happens. I like the look of it though,
and according to Peter, it runs fine so I can see me getting some
wear out of it.
How 'bout you and your new stealth G?

for those of you who are wondering what "rouille" means

I think it's just a fancy way of saying rust or some such colour.
It's almost more reddish but with enough brown so it doesn't look
girly:)
Also bought a nice rubberised black synthetic strap for the OS300.
Had one of these before...great strap.
....and some screw in buckles (non spring bar) for my homemade straps.
I highhly reccomend Panatime. Great quality straps and they are very reasonably priced.
Similar straps elswhere go for $80 +

The GA-100 is great except when I have to wear winter jackets

the cuff moves the watch around the wristbone on my small 6.5 wrist and bugs me when I bend it (as in driving). Otherwise, it is a summer watch choice when I wear golf shirts! The watch is now in its box! haha! Never have need of its multifunctions, though, just its amazing handset timetelling ability.

solar, so you have to change the battery every 2-3 yrs. They should just start making
all G's solar...better for the environment, and with economies of scale, it couldn't
be that much more expensive to do it.
What does that small sub dial do at the 12 o'clock position do?

I guess making it solar would have increased the price...
