Mikey, EdH and I want you to show your gold plated or trimmed collectibles! It is a new year and I wonder how many of us are warming up to the color gold (not afraid to own a watch with gold in it! Many US guys are turned off Bling...but I suggest the trend is returning happy.gif

with a few quartz. The one with the gold mesh bracelet is a 21 jewel mechanical Timex from the 1970's. Timex produced several 21 jewel models, which they called Timex 21.

The vintage alarm first (where the bracelet is also impossible to wear since it is a horrific hair puller), and then a more recent rose-gold-plated model that 'sings' nicer ...

putting together post with a Welsh watch on a UK-patent West German-made bracelet, with UK market watches from the Soviet Union and East Germany, and 2 domestic market Soviet watches and one from post-Soviet Russia, a couple of Chinese watches and one from Hong Kong and another assembled in Australia from Chinese and Hong Kong parts, and an Israeli assembled Swiss parts watch on a Soviet Belorussian bracelet. I even managed to include a Swiss watch.
