unless they are NOS Mr. Thayer did the cleaning and re-lume on the dial and 2nds hand for me and I just got it back a few ago from having my watch maker install it for me! Bob did an OUTSTANDING job on the dial and hand for me and I couldnt be more pleased! The tiny white spots you see are not on the dial but are due to my negligence of cleaning the Crystal better. Now I have a full 100% all original Proof 6105-8110 Perhaps soon down the road I'll send her off to get the case re-done but as it stands now..... I'm a VERY happy camper.

Hi Jimmy!
Yes....... indeed I am glad I didnt flip it as I came VERY close several times! It's one of those watches that have a special meaning and of special importance! Not only the fact it's an Iconic diver but also the fact that a Navy SEAL once owned it and it has been O/seas in action!
Finding another like it in this condition would be a toughie.
Even with the money and time I spent in getting it back to ALL original has been well worth it!

I knew inside you'd hang-onto it, the rarity of the proof dial is reason enough, but there's also the calling inside you that remembers the meaning of the brotherhood you shared in country & the added knowledge that this watch served it's country proudly.

Congratulations, and keep alive the remembrance of this watch & when you were about 19 serving...
