NOS, boxed....simply vintage gorgeous IMO. Auto, handwinder from the 1960s. Resemblance to the Rolex President is intentional haha! I have a wabi Ricoh, Sharkfin Dave has his Ricoh too!

Very interesting history but hard to research, this Ricoh company. More popular in South America, it seemed when I was researching the brand last year. Googling found vintage Ricohs on the South American internet for used watches. Ricoh watches were sold throughout SE Asia too.

I had read that Ricoh entered into partnership with Hamilton to make electric watches but could not compete with Seiko. The venture was dissolved in 1965. Ricoh assembled its watches in Japan and eventually left the watch market to concentrate on it office equipment sales.

at the top turns me on too hehehe! Folded links though, so likely a bit rattly...but we shall see when it arrives. This one rivals MikeyT's gold 7Axx haha!

That classic design did not do anything for me a few years ago. Now iconic designs like this and the Pasha are growing on me. happy.gif

Nice pick up. It looks factory fresh. A little "shiny" for me but well suited for the Master of Bling.

Quality comes with time.

and in Japan, gold and its color are no strangers to the average population! Such a retro homage fits into my eclectic collection just fine. Ricoh watches fascinate me since they are relatively uncommon amongst collectors...to find this one NOS with all box and tags...well, that is icing on the cake!
