For sale: The Citizen, AQ1000-58E. This is the new eco-drive, thermocompensated The Citizen.

Stainless steel case and bracelet with Duratect PTIC finish. Double AR-coated sapphire crystal. WR 10 BAR. Perpetual calendar and independently-adjustable hour hand (no need to hack the watch to adjust the hour hand). Thermocompensated A010 movement with ± 5 seconds per year accuracy. Eco-drive (solar power). Power reserve indicator. Case diameter: 37.3 mm., case thickness: 10.4 mm., weight: 124 g. Ten-year Citizen warranty, which includes free battery changes and checkups during the first 10 years. Comes with original Citizen box and Owner's Manual. New to me about 6 months ago. Only worn for 13 weeks during accuracy-testing. No scratches or scuffs that I can see. Regular price: $2645 US. Asking: $1500.00 US. This includes shipping to anywhere in the US or Canada. I will ship to any location, but will need to check postal costs for international addresses. This will add slightly to the price. Pictures follow. These are taken from a review I did of the watch (hence the numbers to which I referred in the review), in which I placed it side-by-side with the older Chronomaster which is most closely resembles. In each picture, the AQ1000-58E is the watch on the left.

A thread detailing the obtained accuracy of this watch can be found at:

http://www.thewatchsite.com/index.php/topic,28691.msg174249.html#msg174249

In the accuracy test in the last link, the present watch is labeled "Watch 1." It can be seen that this specimen easily beat its official accuracy specification of ± 5 seconds per year, recording 3.64 seconds per year when worn over a 13-week trial period.
