How's the weather up there? I think yesterday was the hottest day we've had here so far this season. We've had thunderstorms here almost every night for the past week or so. Cecil has a little garden (about 6'X 8')that is absolutely thriving...for a change. The first summer here was rain almost every day thru June and July. The second summer was no rain during those months and last summer wasn't much better.
Did you hear that there were almost no bikes in Myrtle BEach during the HD Bike Week. We saw a few more during the Atlantic Bike Fest but not a lot. The city lost a lot of money. They had a few thousand at Murrell's Inlet and Garden City so we could hear them in the distance but they mostly stayed out of the city of MB and signs were posted everywhere asking the bikers to not spend a dime in MB.
The helmet law is being contested by someone who says city or county law can't supercede state law which allows no helmets. This is a bad year to start something like this when the economy is so bad.
