Didn't think I had it in me, did you? Ha! It was a little rough with bugs, but not too bad. We intend to do a lot more in the future. The racoons are unbelievable! They can unzip coolers, tents, take the caps off bottles, toss a case of 24 cokes off your cooler, remove the bungee cords and unlatch the cooler. I figure they helped us get rid of about $25 worth of food. They even opened a Hershey bar with one tear and left me the wrapper. Too bad they didn't find the marshmallows and graham crackers, they could have had s'mores!
The shark tooth hunting was super. We found at least 200 and many of them large. We have a collection of shark teeth that probably weighs a few pounds and numbers in the thousands. Maybe someday we'll count them!
The music at the Shrimp Fest was great. We would have thought we had all died and gone to Heaven. Brown-eyed Girl, Lay Down Sally and Under the Broadwalk were among my favorites. They sounded as good as the originals.
