I totally agree. Where is all this money going !!!!!!!!! - it's better odds than playing the lottery. Someone is making a LOT of money. What an absolute scam - and all you coaches just keep coming out and lining their pockets with entrance fees (when the parents weren't even consulted about entering) and we are stuck paying the $50.00 per family to see their kids play, plus the extras in food for the weekend (when we are already paying $1,000's in fees for the year). It's not even like we are playing in nice arenas (what a bunch of dumps). Why doesn't everyone just start boycotting these tournaments - I am sure you would see a change, or just refuse to pay the entrance fee - they can't chase after 500 people!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Silverstick is the premier tournament.

Silverstick in the 2000 loop doesn't have the Rebels or the Kings this year...so it isn't what it should be.

are you kidding. Silversticks are the worse. they usually are spread out over a bunch of days wirh goofy mathematical formulas. We are in the 98 division. this is a good tourney, only problem is some good teams and some real weak teams, but thats AAA hockey some centers are, and some are not.

Take a look at this! Why bother driving from Buffalo to get to your ass kicked. 26-0 WTF There are worse teams than TT.

The 98 version of this tournament is awful. Just look at the scores. Was this organized just so teams and players in the G can inflate their statistics? Pathetic.

Even leaving those games aside, look at the margins of victory in a lot of the other games. Just a bad tournament.

Can you demand a receipt and what happens if you are not provided one? Everywhere in Canada you can seek a receipt and one has to be provided to you.

W. Senecas only goalie quit hockey about a week ago. Not making excuses for them but to play tough competition without someone who ever played in net leads to these type of scores. Im sure no one is happy about this but they are trying to make the best of the hand they were delt.

That is bullshit. I saw the goalie dad, he's been around for ever.

This tournament does have some solid competition but it has to be the most disorganized clusterfuck I've seen in over 30 years of minor hockey. Playing at 8 am then not again until 6 pm. 15 or 20 minute delays are expected at tournaments and are no big deal, but having your game posted (10 hours after your first gane ) then moving it another hour and a half back then a 45 minute delay? WTF is wrong with this picture. Who is organizing this mess. These idiots can't even post what teams are ranked where and who is playing who. Waiting for your games for an hour and then being told you have to load up and move to another rink. Top it off with the fisting at the gate. Brutal refereeing, unless you were with the host team, a rink that wreaked of sewage. All ads up to a typical visit to shithole toronto. Someone in the Reps orgtanization needs to be accountable and provide answers to this mess. But of course they won't. They never have and continue with the same shit year after year. These clowns couldn't organize a blowjob at a hooker convention. Oh and by the way we are still in the tournament - and the reps can go fuck themselves.

This tournament was poorly run in past years as well. Our 9 year olds had a scheduled round-robin game at 8:15 on Saturday night and due to numerous delays didn't get on the ice until after 10:00 pm. We won the game that ended at 11:15 and got the boys home to bed well past midnight. Our reward was to play in the quarters the next morning at 7:00 am on 4 hours sleep. We lost that game by a goal to a team that concluded it's round-robin at 2:00 pm the day before. The worst part was that there wasn't even an apology by the tournament organizers...just lots of excuses. Never again.

People on here are coming down on the Marlies, but lets call a spade a spade here. It was impossible not to rack up the score on this team. They are an A team at best. I mean they also lost 17-0 and 18-3 to two mediocre AAA teams.

So the mighty marlies only scored 7 and 8 more goals repectively then 2 mediocre AAA teams did. Maybe you aren't so mighty.
