I agree you should report it. I do not know about the bus rides for your children, my 2 girls always tell me stories, about kids being loud, obnoxious and general kids behaviours, and so far have never said anything gross. They also tell me (specially the elementary school drivers) that the bus driver is very mean when they push her buttons. I know her personally and she does not take any crap from any rider, but I do know as a fact that the county where we live at, has very set rules for school bus rides. They made all of us, parents and students alike go to some sort of "Training" for school riding one time when the students start K, 2nd time when they star what they call "upper elementary" and 3rd when they star HS, and sign contracts every year, they are not allowed to stand up and walk on the bus be insulting and or attack or cause a fight, the bus drivers have total control of the students and if they refuse to give the ride to the kid then is the parent responsiblity to pick you child up from school until the problem is solved.
There was one case with my oldest daughter, where her lunch had being taken from a bully in the bus (she most have being in 3rd grade and this bully was on 5th grade) since she had an nice sweet snack and dessert and he had nothing, she came home and told us, my husband was so mad that he drove her to school the next day, talked to the princiaal and the kid was called right away, reprimend it and forbidden to ride the bus until his parents could straight him and he stop being a bully, which they found out he was doing within the school as well. For the HS rides, which my daughter does now, she has told me that the bus drivers refuse to take any kid that has misbehave in the prior ride, if he/she knows about any disciplinary problem happening on the ride to and from school, she will not let them ride the next time until they get a note from the principal.
I am so sorry for what has happen to you son, and you should go and report to anybody and everybody you think would listen to you. Hopefully you will get a good response.
