Hello my 4yr child is a victim os csa. Although it happened to him I feel as though it happened to me as well. As he suffered PTSD so did I especially before i found out. I thaught he was just acting out trying to get his way, but his behavior just seemed to unusual and was not normal for my child to be so angry, agressive and rebelliant. it hurt even more when he finally disclosed the information to me because it was happening right under my roof where my child was suppose to be safe. It was a teenage cousin. I followed their protocol: report the abuse, spoke with dcfs investigators and police, the states attorney reviewed the case and rejected it, but the dcfs investigator indicated, the perpetrator filed for an appeal, dcfs expunged him. Now i a concerned parent am backed into a wall. So i filed for an administrative review of the findings and they are trying to dismiss my complaint. What gives them the right to make decisions that affect us and think they do not have to explain or answer our questions on behalf of our children. They made the decision and i need to know how, I have not been able to find legal counsel so I am fighting this case pro se. I am not an attorney or parallegal, If anyone out there has any ideas please share.
