Thanks everyone for your opinions on the kid who grabbed at my son's privates on the bus. I actually know the kid, and don't like him (he's always breaking rules, and has been banned from playing at my house.) I thought maybe b/c I didn't like him, and have CSA on the brain, that I might be overreacting.
My DH made a really good point, too. He said, "What if there are 10 things that have happened, and each person decides it's not a big deal, and they don't say anything?" That makes a lot of sense. If you're going to "catch" a person before the behavior gets too far, these little incidents and clues could be what does it. So, I decided to tell the school principal (it's a small school), as he's the most likely person to co-ordinate "stories" from other sources. If I don't get a response I feel comfortable with, I'll think about who else to call.
