First off I'm sorry to hear about this. Custody and abuse are two seperate issues that need to be dealt with in the same aspect. That being said, if the detective really did tell you that they don't believe you, you have EVERY right to talk with their supervisor and express your concerns of a fair investigation. If there is physical proof that will hopefully hold up in court. I am sorry that you are going thru this and I can relate to how insensative detectives and those invoved in the investigation can be. It's not fair. I'm here if you need an ear!
