GAL

by

If there is a GAL and there is a court order for no one to talk about the SA then the GAL cannot either. You have the right to be present when the GAL meets with the children...at least I did in my state. You still have custody of your children! Unless the courts tell you otherwise and have taken custody away from you. Hopefully you can get the attorney soon before the children get their GAL and meet with them so your attorney can advise you on what you can and can't do in this situation.

You really aren't missing anything bc they don't ever really tell you ANYTHING! I walked through blindly...it was horrible! In the beginning they tried to pull so many things over my head without my knowledge! The best thing I did was to research the laws in my county and state. It's hard to find bc there are so little laws available to protect our children...

If you need help finding laws in your state you can email me...just click on my name and you can email me privately. I'm usually pretty good at finding stuff and so is blurrrb. I'm sure she wouldn't mind if you emailed her as well.

Hang in there mom and big hugs,

Bree :)
