Take a deep breath. I would consider this something to look into, but wouldn't jump to conclusions yet. I think you're wise to take the boys to a good therapist (and it sounds like you have a good one) to sort through this. Like E says, sometimes boys just do stupid stuff. Who knows.
Whatever it is -- you WILL get through this. You know that, right?
