Hey...you really need a lawyer. Also put off the social workers etc until after you have seen a counselor. Certainly get the alarm for his door and follow safety measures...but he is a 5 year old and it would be a cold day in hell before I would willingly turn my 5 year old over to the state. He didn't learn this stuff on his own and they should be trying to get to the bottom of this....he is a child not a perpetrator....don't allow them to take him. You might want to talk to the counselor about possible treatment programs that are designed to work with kids his age in an out of home placement if it should get to the point.....but don't turn him over. He is just a child and he needs help. Get him in counseling.....he is acting out what has happened to him....it is his way of telling....that doesn't make him a perpetrator....it makes him a victim....yes he needs to understand that is unacceptable and you won't allow it....but taking away his mom and family because he is trying to make sense of something he has experienced makes no sense.
