Hi Jessica! Welcome...I'm so sorry you've needed to search us out but so very glad that you found us! I agree with everything that has been said. I'm also concerned though that they might put your son back into your exes home. Being that you "can't" keep your other 2 children safe from your son they might deem his home the best place for your son to live.
This happened to one of our mothers...not the exact same scenario but her little guy is living with the perp. He got full custody and she only has visitations due to the fact that she has children with "more difficult needs". This was/is in no way true at all! She's a fantastic mother but the courts and social services seem to think they can make decisions based solely off of 3rd party observations. There are just some cases that are just so hard to fight and she has little to no money to fight it!!!
So I agree with b...do not let them take your little guy out of your home. He is still your son and NOT a "perpetrator". He just needs some therapy to help him learn that what was taught to him was not OK. But that none of this is his fault! I can only imagine all of the chaos going on in his little head. Poor pumpkin. First thing first...a good therapist...one that specializes in Child Sexual Abuse and one that will stand up to CPS and tell them that the worst thing they can do to your son is to remove him from the home!
My D was sexually reactive as well and I of course had to watch her every move but in time we got it resolved...his behavior is "normal" for a sexually abused child. In this horrible and scary time in his life he needs the person that loves and cares the most for him, who will help him through this. Not some ppl that he doesn't know! That will just make matters worse. He's 5 for God's sake! Sheesh! Sorry, that just makes me angry...
b...could that be a possibilty...them deciding on the ex being a place to put the child???
