Just when I thought Id come across it all , this morning I placed a call to a therapist that I had taken my D to 2.5 years ago when she has written some really awfull things about her dad and herself in her journal. looked as if she was developing some self hatred over the whole mess. Anyway I found a T that my insurnacce would cover and took her to him. He was the FIRST "professional" that she had seen after disclosure to me. We only went to him twice BUT It estabnlishes a time line on when she first told a T about., I called him to get documentation on it for our case, and he as much as implied that hecould NOT do that because HE WOULD NOT GET PAYED if Supeonaed. And that he would be happy to do so IF I had proper coverage or could Payfor his testimony.. WHAT the "F"???/??..
I thought that T's were MANDATED reporters and IT was not up to the VICTIM to get him payed to do so..
MY question, If he is supeonaed is he not required BY LAW to show up and testify???? not just in the case that HE is being PAYED?? ... OMG.. what next... Dare I ask....
