I'm so sorry you find yourself here. I, too, have had sibling abuse in my family. It is totally heartbreaking. I understand the pain of loving a child so much, and wondering how he could do this terrible thing to the family, as well as the victim. As a mom, it's like being torn in half! Who do you help? What are you supposed to think or do? It's humiliating to deal with all the legal/social aspects. Hiring a lawyer for my S has to be one of the most humiliating things I have ever done. I want to tell you that I have been amazed at home many people with sibling abuse are stay at home, devoted moms.
