I'm so glad to hear that there are other people in social work that care as much as mine did. Our CPS intake worker, our case worker(we had 2...one moved away so we got a second one) they were just AMAZING! Every step of the way they were right there beside me and went over and above. Of course they had to come over to the house to check on things once a month but when they did they were so good with the girls. They would take the time to go outside and play with the girls on the swing set or play with them in the playroom!
I was such an emotional wreck and they would listen and when I needed, a hug :) It brings tears to my eyes right now thinking about it...sigh...wish everyone had the same experience as we did. It made going through the horror just a little bit easier!
