I believe anything we feel is 'normal'. Speaking personally, I HATED our sons too. That softens as years pass by...although I have no desire to see either of the boys again. It makes me very sad though. Even even after 9 years, there are times when I miss them. I loved them as my own child and they will always have a place in my heart.
