Re: the struggle

I am so sorry you were abused as well. Here is a big hug! Being a victim yourself you are going to feel things more powerfully because we know just what it feels like to be our child. When you have privacy away from your children allow yourself to feel the feelings. You are probably suffering from some PTSD symptoms. Most sexually abused people have PTSD. Read about it on the internet and if you feel that you have it get the book Invisible Heroes by Belleruth Naparstak. She also has made a Trauma CD for sexual assault survivors that has been a lifesaver for me. I read her book available at Amazon( you could also get it at your local library) and listen to the CD nightly before going to sleep. I wish I would have had it from the beginning. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. You can do this! You are a warrior mom! You are so strong! Please keep coming back here. WE care about you, Laura
