The DA finally got involved and sent the abuser a letter telling him to get a lawyer. The DA heard back from his son that he was too ill and they were not getting him a lawyer. So the DA is going to hold on and contact him again in a couple of months. When I told my son he went bonkers. How can they just take his son's word that the offender is too sick. Why don't they ask for proof like a letter from hospice or something to prove his condition. This is what happened befor. He stopped eating and drinking to kill him self. As soon as the storm calmed down he got better. Also to top it all off his son asked the DA why they were not going after me as it happened in my home. The DA got a good laugh out of that part.
