Sorry about my earlier post - I must have been a little out of it!
Thank you for your support and sharing your story. As I understand it, they don't put victims and perps in the same waiting area anymore , but with civil court sometimes you never know... I do plan on advocating. I'm studying law with the idea that I can help other mothers/parents/families who go through this and similar crimes (domestic violence, sexual assault) where the victim is rarely believed. It angers me but that anger is no longer out of control, it is only fuel.
We are hopefully near to receiving word from CPS that they found that he did abuse my ddr. That will be a miracle in itself!
