I used to lie on my back during the summer when I was a kid and watch the clouds going by. From what I remember on more than one occasion I was there all afternoon! I also used to like to see cloud formations on the horizon with a clear sky overhead and imagine I was looking at a range of snow covered mountains.
I still enjoy just switching of and looking at clouds developing, changing and fading away as like you I find it relaxing and stress busting. As a farmer clouds are very important to me for all sorts of reasons. You'd think that I'd be an expert in identifying them by now but I think I'm too busy looking and enjoying them, so no, I'm not!
Happy cloud gazing and welcome to the only place to be to be accepted as having your head in the clouds!
Dave.
