I like the real stiff paper, almost like uncorrugated cardboard. The holes punch much cleaner in this. The regular printer paper tends to rip out instead of a nice clean hole.

I believe it went along the lines of guys getting cleaner holes by placing their paper into the oven to drive off any moisture. I believe this went back to the CPM on the old forum, should be in the archives somewhere.......

yep, here it is.

Lately I too have been using the heaviest 'card stock' printer paper at the local Office Supply store, Wausau "Exact Index" with fair to good results.

Some time back, I cut down some NRA targets I had and printed targets on the back of 'genuine target paper'. Needless to say, they worked well.

It turns out that Pistoleer.com http://www.pistoleer.com/targets/custom/>; will not only custom print targets for you, but will sell you the blank paper. I've got some, but haven't tried it yet. It seems to be 'the good stuff', I've printed some up and expect good results.
