Forum Members
1- All posts will be conducted under the original rule with civility, respect and common sense.
Since there is a wide spread in opinion on this, the forum moderators will be considered
to be the middle ground and will resolve matters at the extremes appropriately.
Forum Vendors
A forum vendor is considered to be anyone who manufactures and sells, purchases and resells
or designs and profits from any product in quantity. Considering that this is one of the areas
in which a great deal of trouble arises the following rules will be obeyed, failure to do so
will result in the offender being banned, in which the forum administration may or may not
reinstate the offender at a future date.
1- Forum vendors will adhere to forum member rule as above.
2- Hardselling will not be tolerated. This includes hijacking threads where a competitors product
is being discussed, directly or indirectly attacking a known safe competitor product, or
product announcements directed at another vendor in any deliberate attempt to provoke
a flame war or carry on some tit for tat nonsense.
3- Vendors may not attack member posts where the member posts their own design work for a
product similar to that which the vendor offers, this will be considered a breach of rule #2.
4- Discussion of patent law and patent infringement are expressly forbidden.
5- Flame wars will not be tolerated between vendors, expulsion will be immediate to both parties.
6- Vendors may not spam the forum with self gratuitous posts designed to promote their products,
any vendor proven to be using alternative logins to accomplish the same task will be
banned permanently, any third party participating in spamming the forum will also be banned.
7- Hijacking of threads to promote a vendors product will be considered spam and dealt with under rule #6.
8- The moderators reserve the right to apply the above rules to any thread that the
vendor or moderator believes to be an end run around any of the above rules.
9- Moderator & Administrator decisions are final, do not spam our inboxes.
