Response to Out of the park Dan......

I really had fun making it. It's amazing what you can do and the skills you hone when you don't allow yourself to use wheels, guns and widgets from the spares box.

I really look forward to doing more of this. I want to make a Fokker V1 prototype from scratch and I want to modify my Roden Staaken with a new nose, lengthened fuselage, ladders and gun positions in the top wing and new nacelles. I have a great book showing this great plane with lots of folks hanging off of it in flight. Just amazing. That should keep me rather busy.

By the way...I was at Barnes and Noble last night and saw your Voodoo. Awesome finish on that. I really like that you are doing a series on those "useless" kits that no one seems to pay attention to. Like Mike Grant for SAMI. You Canadians have the right idea (I think Mr. Grant is from the GWN?)!

Anyway, cheers and thanks for the encouragement.

HyperScale's Group Build Guidelines

The objective of this Group Build is to encourage as many modellers as possible to build their kits and share their progress via words and photos on this Forum.

You are welcome to post general construction tips or relevant reference information and photos to this Forum too.

This Group Build will feature WWI Aircraft Kits.

  1. This Group Build will run until 31 December, 2011.

  2. Build as many kits as you like.

  3. Conversions, aftermarket and scratchbuilding are all permitted.

  4. Any markings are acceptable.

  5. Document your progress and do a write-up on your build - where did you have trouble, what improvements did you make, what markings did you choose and why? It would be GREAT if everyone would do a writeup and submit it to HyperScale as a Feature Article.
