After working on my Trumpeter A-10 for ages and still a long way to go I decided to pull this one out with the aim to finish by Christmas. Not exactly Luft'46, more like Luft'36.

Well,

...it's resin (I assume) and it's an aircraft (sort of...), so why not? It looks like a fun project. Get going and share some images of your progress, please.

Yes, thats the one. I got this through Starship Modeler several years ago. As far as I know it is OOP, but if you email John Lester at the site he might be able to let you know if they could get any more.

Some progress for the carrier of the Ark

November 21 2010, 5:13 PM

Only a few hours over the weekend in between very early Christmas parties, kids cricket and kids birthday parties.

Cockpit, radiators, main wheel legs and tail planes in place. Have found some minor bubbling, so will attack them with CA and putty. The plane sits evenly on all three legs despite the instructions suggesting otherwise.

HyperScale's Group Build Guidelines

The objective of this Group Build is to encourage as many modellers as possible to build their kits and share their progress via words and photos on this Forum.

You are welcome to post general construction tips or relevant reference information and photos to this Forum too.

This Group Build will feature WWI Aircraft Kits.

  1. This Group Build will run until 31 December, 2011.

  2. Build as many kits as you like.

  3. Conversions, aftermarket and scratchbuilding are all permitted.

  4. Any markings are acceptable.

  5. Document your progress and do a write-up on your build - where did you have trouble, what improvements did you make, what markings did you choose and why? It would be GREAT if everyone would do a writeup and submit it to HyperScale as a Feature Article.
