Da bench looks like a bomb has hit it, bit of mould making and resin casting going on. The bandit awaits masking for colours, the Brasilia is being de-pinholed / filled / sanded etc etc before masking and priming, the fuselage will be alclad chrome so it has to be smoother than a baby's bum.
The DC-5 is being built for a friend, he wants it wheels up on a stand with painted windows and cockpit, this is the Planet kit, far nicer to build than my brasilian kits.

Tempting tempting tempting...

I like the DC-5, I have seen it in the shops in Prague a few times... but the colour schemes on the box don't convince me, I've heard Planet Models will release another one with US Navy markings, that one will certainly get my credit cards attention - so it's good to hear it's a nice kit, looks very nice too

I suppose you do it in New Holland Airways markings ?

Just like the perfect woman doesn't exist, I will never build a perfect model.
Puts me on a par with God

HyperScale's Group Build Guidelines

The objective of this Group Build is to encourage as many modellers as possible to build their kits and share their progress via words and photos on this Forum.

You are welcome to post general construction tips or relevant reference information and photos to this Forum too.

This Group Build will feature WWI Aircraft Kits.

  1. This Group Build will run until 31 December, 2011.

  2. Build as many kits as you like.

  3. Conversions, aftermarket and scratchbuilding are all permitted.

  4. Any markings are acceptable.

  5. Document your progress and do a write-up on your build - where did you have trouble, what improvements did you make, what markings did you choose and why? It would be GREAT if everyone would do a writeup and submit it to HyperScale as a Feature Article.
