Actually I've been to Florida Bradenton/Sarasota many times. In Washington it sometimes was great to take a month's vacation in the winter in Florida and come back with a glorious tan. (That meant you were rich. LOL) But I like the warmer water in the summer but not the climate. Surprisingly humid.
California is one beautiful state, but living here in a culturally deprived society (sorry, Californians LOL) makes you long to go back East. Just my opinion, of course.
