I didn't mean that the Mr. X story was told in the Zehme, but rather, if you read both, there is a way to figure out who Mr. X is, by reading whom Bob was working with right around the time he met Andy.
The point becomes moot, however, when someone shows up and says "It's Norman Wexler." That's even better - no homework involved.
