Me too!! No jest here, at all. I think the Mr. X idea would be absolutely great. The closest thing I've seen to that was "The Zero Effect" starring (surprisingly) Bill Pulman. Loved it, but it didn't go nearly far enough into bizarre, eccentric behavior, as do Zmuda's Mr. X stories.
This is a favorite subject of mine--so when I get time I'll embellish.
