When I hear that (or any one of a thousand corollaries) I think to myself: here is a very unhappy person, who spends at least one third of their waking hours doing something they hate. What a waste of life!
We’ve each been given a gift in this life. We are meant to turn that gift into a dream, that dream into a passion, and that passion into reality. If not, we have squandered something that is precious, and irreplaceable.
Andy knew this. And we as fans love him for it. That’s a major reason why we are drawn to him.

Indeed. Liberating ~and~ the highest compliment we can pay another human. Give me one honest answer over 1000 false flatteries. Honesty is the ultimate tribute one can pay another.
You, as am I, and as are most fans of Andy Kaufman, are drawn to him because we share his values. That’s what makes this board so gratifying.
