I have an e-friend...let's call him "Xavier." Xavier is very into Andy Kaufman, and has been for many years now.
Xavier just lent his copy of the videocassette of "Man On The Moon" to a friend of ~his~, whom we shall call "Zeke" for our purposes.
Apparrently, Zeke didn't "get" the beginning ten (or so) minutes of the film, where Jim/Andy goofs that it's the end of the movie, and the credits roll. He tried to rewind the video several times to get it to play "from the beginning" before giving up on that idea...
Heh heh heh...

A long time ago, I heard about when it was in the theaters - someone went to see it, and the film broke right in the "Phillipines" scene - they wanted to know if that was the "real" ending! Oh, how I wish it was - so totally Andy!!! (Of course, the film would have suffered even more of a financial hit from all those ticket refunds...)
