I use 1024 x 768 which apparently has slipped to under 50% as of 2008. Still 36%+ users is a solid enough number for concern. On my resolution, the link here was buried, with the QB64 links on the top clearly visible.
I see that your adjusted format is good in all resolutions, 1024 x 768 and above; however, what about if your window to the link opens smaller than full screen? I just tried that and again, the links to this forum were buried. I think the community here would agree with me that putting all the links above the new image would be a better standard.
I adjusted our links to point to the QB64.net splash page. I noted that links open in a new window for both sites, except that I made the QB64 Project Page link so it opens in the same window; otherwise, the link you have to it on the splash page could propagate extra un-needed windows upon return.
If you can figure out how to put a link back to the QB Forum in your "My Community" Page, that would be appreciated.
I understand your position to have visitors see all the QB64 options from the splash page. I hope you understand my position to link both of the discussion forums together.
We’re getting there,
BTW – I knew it was close, but apparently FireFox has overtaken IE this year.
