i just want to protect the default values. once the files are made, the plaer will be free to modify and of them, but i would like to start with the same defaults. creating a seperate backup txt file would be the easiest and quickest way to go, but also the least secure. is there anyway to lock or write protect a txt file so it cant be modified unless the program does so?
