It would be possible to make an optional QB skin, but that's even more work. I do think most people appreciate the greater amount of code that can be worked on and viewed with a Notepad style IDE, but keep in mind most people who use the QB IDE love the ability to work on just the subs or functions, by using the F2 key and selecting the sub or function to open by itself in a window.
