some things I need to find out

First off, I would like to say THANKS GALLEON! QB64 is an awesome project!
It does more then QuickBASIC could ever dream!

Now on to the questions:

1. How do I make jpg/bmp files smaller so I can skin frames and show scenes?
2. If I make a data map of walls and doors (ie, 1 = walls, 2 = no walls) and start a certain pic? I intend to make old skool Wizardry and old skool The Bard's Tale like games! I hope that this message wasn't confusing, but I hope you all can answer this...
