The example I provided in my initial posts uses a program included with the QB45 package that demonstrates COMMAND$. I was waiting to see if the OP could test that (He would have to have QB45 to do so.)
I did some checking, but I didn't see a switch that would let a user add prompts for parameters to the command line, but I may have missed something. www.Computerhope.com is the place I always refer to for DOS stuff like this. That , and for statements www.EasyDOS.com I'm still not sure what the OP is trying to accomplish, and if he doesn't return, I guess we will never know. Pete |
